FLAGGING Workshops
by Destiny Visual Arts Team
This workshop is designed for beginner and intermediate students of flagging techniques. Flags have been used for warfare and worship throughout history.
No prior dance or flagging experience is required for this workshop! Practice flags will be used during the workshop.
Children, teens and adults will be together for the initial introduction and demonstration then we will separate for children and beginners classes and also for older and/or more experienced students.
Basic flagging,
flag twirling,
and large flags / color guard techniques,
with an emphasis on using flags for personal and corporate WORSHIP.
Instructors:
Wendy Allard- Wendy has 25 years experience teaching martial arts, years of dance training, and most recently has been a leader of Destiny’s School of Ministry’s Visual Arts Team- a youth performing arts organization. Wendy is also the owner of (Wendy's) "Worship Weapons".
Lois Ridley- Lois has trained in dance and flags at Eternity Dance Center and Destiny Ministry’s Visual Arts Team and organizes an online youth organization that inspires the youth of today to make a difference… HisFireKids.com.
The kids- Classes will be also taught by the youth of the Destiny Visual Arts Team.
Destiny Visual Arts is a fun youth group that performs Skits, Flags and Dances for Christ @ parks, conferences, churches & schools.
